Instead of taking a brief Spring Break, I like to think of a Spring getaway as the opportunity to start something new. A week at the beach, on a mountain, or in a national park can jump start a life transition. Is your rut deeper than the winter season?
As a Life Transition Coach, I work with people who are ready for a change. This happens in all seasons and for many reasons. However, I find that when clients get a taste of change, like a Spring Break, the need to shake things up grows dramatically. The desire to recapture a fresh, joyous feeling in our lives is a strong motivator for change. I often hear, “I wish I could have this feeling [from Spring Break or vacation] every day.” My follow-up question is always “What’s stopping you?”
“The new dawn blooms as we free it, for there is always light if only we’re brave enough to see it, if only we are brave enough to be it.” ~ Amanda Gorman, The Hill We Climb
As you hit the road, trail, or sand this Spring, dive into that inspiration from nature and take it back home with you. You never know where it will lead!
